Introducing the New Kia Niro
The Kia Niro is shaking up the way we think about driving around Briarwood. This incredibly efficient SUV has three powertrain styles, allowing you to get the performance that works best for your needs. At the same time, it provides the convenience, versatility, and comfort that you would expect from a Kia SUV.

Trim Levels
At John Starks Kia, we can help you decide which of the five Niro trim levels matches your driving needs from our new Kia lineup. Here is a taste of what they offer:
- LX: This base model has plenty of features to love, including an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Kia Drive Wise Assist Technology comes standard as well.
- EX: Going up to the EX trim for your commutes to Queens will mean getting a 10.25-inch touchscreen and navigation. You also gain nice extras, like wireless device charging and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
- EX Touring: This model offers fog lights and goes up to 18-inch wheels rather than the standard 16 inches. It also allows more fresh air to get into the cabin with its standard sunroof.
- SX: A variety of luxurious touches are available, including ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a heated steering wheel.
- SX Touring: This version of the Niro gains the features found on the EX Touring, such as the 18-inch wheels, plus the added luxury found in the SX model.

Interior and Exterior Design
The spacious interior of the Kia Niro makes it an excellent choice for families around Brooklyn. With up to 63.7 cubic feet of cargo space, it is also ideal for bulk grocery shopping or a long road trip. Driver-centric dual displays are available, giving you an immersive experience that includes your infotainment system, directions, diagnostics, and more. For the exterior, you get several eye-catching colors, including some two-tone options. Alloy wheels and a rear spoiler help give the Niro a sporty feel.
Performance
There are three powertrains to choose from for the new Niro. Drivers near the Bronx who choose the standard Niro Hybrid can expect between 49 and 54 mpg, plus an estimated range of 479-588 miles. There is also the Niro Plug-In Hybrid to consider, which gives you an estimated 108 MPGe and 33 miles of all-electric driving. You can also choose to bring home the Niro EV, which has fast-charging capabilities and a range of 253 miles.

Technology
Your new Kia Niro will come standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. If you stick with the entry-level model, you can expect an 8-inch touchscreen for running the infotainment system. The remaining models have a 10.25-inch touchscreen instead. Available tech features for this Kia SUV include wireless device charging, navigation, and a premium sound system from Harman Kardon.
Safety Features
Drivers can trust the new Niro to help them get around Long Island City and beyond safely. This SUV comes equipped with features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, which uses sensors and cameras to monitor your surroundings for potential collisions. Blind-Spot Collision Warning is also standard across the board, as well as Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist. You can also custom order a Kia Niro equipped with navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. This feature maintains a set distance between you and the vehicle ahead while also using the navigation to adjust for curves in the road.
